For my image hijack topics I chose

Gun control

 

I chose Uncle Sam picture because he is famous ad to help recruit men to join the military. My idea behind this design is to change Uncle Sam's head with an Ak 47 with the saying "I want you to stop gun control" dictating the violence how much out of hand, guns are getting and how much control it has over people. The Ak symbolizes shooting head on. Next is his finger pointing as a gun at a kid saying "I want you to join gun control movement" The idea is to get kid's out of the gang environment join the movement and help guns get under control, being in the wrong environment as a kid can do damage when they are older, not only that more innocent kids are dying because of people being careless. The reaper is to show once you are dead there is no coming back. He has a gun instead of a blade to symbolize give me your guns to save your life. The last picture is the world as uncle same head with a gun pointing with the saying "I want the world free of gun violence," The world is meaning everywhere we should join together and end gun violence on innocent people. The world would be so much safe. Overall I would like to make the planet more safe environment for people to actually live their life and not be scared to go outside. 

 

Gay Rights 

I chose coonskin as a famous picture it was a show but was made to make fun of black people. My idea behind this design was to draw attention to gay rights which is symbolized throughout each picture with the background and pride symbols being pride colors. In my first design there is a hand making a peace sign with 2 fingers symbolizing females who are in a relationship together, with pride love at the top and acceptance meaning they want to be included and viewed as regular people without judgment. The next design is a hand with a peace symbol in the palm with they skin at the top because no matter what they are human just like everyone else no matter what or who you may like. On the top of each fingertip there is a letter from LGBTQ imitating what someone may identify as. The design with Pride skin at the top and equality at the bottom is to bring light to the trans community and have equal right just as any other human do. They are still human and should be viewed as such. The symbol in the corner is to represent transgender people, who should be able to play the same sports any other gender can no matter what you identify as. There is a transgender girl running on the girls track team. Last it's a spin off Coon Skin using Luney Tunes. Bugs bunny and porky pig to saying accept all folks with the peace sign. Pride, love, and peace at the bottom because that is what the pride community stands on. 

Me too movement

I chose the picture of the sailor kissing this woman for the Me-too movement because originally in this famous picture this guy did not know this lady, he just came home from duties walked up and kissed her. She was married at the time and had a son. My design shows the me-too movement because in each picture she is standing up for herself against this act of sexual harassment and not just allowing it to happen. She pushes him away from her, she is seen slapping him, she also even yells DO NOT KISS ME, and her son even asks " why are you kissing my mom and who are you?
