Good Vibes, Good Life by Vex King (in my own words) is a book to help you find yourself, lead you on a journey of self- healing, teach you how to manifest what you want out of life. Teach you yoga to find inner peace. Train your mind to think more positive and get toxic energy that serves you no purpose out of your life. Mr. King also gives advice for certain situations and better ways to handle the problems.
For my book jacket cover I decided to draw a beach and in the sand is the title of the book with a lawn chair facing the beach, in the water there is a boat. there is a sun on the back of the cover but i want it to look like the sun is setting to represent a peaceful state, somewhere you can go to put an individual mind at peace, where they are able to think or maybe even feel grounded in nature. On the back of the book there is also a palm tree. I would like to add more birds on both sides of the cover, with the scan code in the corner. For the spine of the book is Good Vibes, Good Life with the publisher's logo. The beach will be on both sides including the spine as well. I would like to make the titles bold to stand out. I want to make the book look kind of relaxing and peaceful because that is what it's about gaining. Three different idea's I could change this book jacket into a different cover is by 1 making the Font bolder in like an Orange yellow color to make it stand out in the sand. I can also make the sun reflect off of the water. Second change could be maybe added someone doing yoga or meditating on the sand. 3rd change could be to add more color to make the beach stand out to look relaxing or like a peaceful place to be.
I reversed this jacket meaning I made what usually would be the back of the cover the front, and the front of the cover the back. I wanted something a little different. There is nature in this book jacket to show the balance of nature can ground you and make you feel at peace. The back of the book is some clouds but a heart with the Chakra colors to symbolize inner healing. this jacket can be changed 3 different ways by 1 taking the heart out and actually having the chakra symbols. 2 for the front of the book instead of a deer add some bunnies to represent virtue, serenity, or a dove to represent body spirituality. the last change could be the fonts could me more rounded and like a fancy handwriting to show you are re writing your life but the way you want it.
I wanted this cover jacket to also represent nature but reflect on self-love as well. I wanted the cover of the book to speak for itself. The path to walk by faith and what is deep in your heart. Follow your dreams and manifest what you want out of life. I would make this a vibrant color to catch someone attention to want to look at the book. 3 different changes I could make is instead of the hearts i would add a person with a missing hole in them to show they need self-healing. 2 Instead of the bushes just green grass, instead of a tree it could be a bench for someone to sit and just contemplate their life on what they want to change. 3 I could add some encouraging words like success, Don't give up, Self-love, prosperous, courage that people could tell themselves to keep their mind positive.
